private lessons
TEACHING
I have taught a number of sixth grade and seventh grade students. The rage of their ability levels is vast, from an advanced student to one with dyslexia. Teaching private lessons has been a great learning experience. Patience, communication, and perseverance have been key to the effectiveness of my teaching as I work with my students on intonation, etudes, scales, orchestra pieces, and solos.

PRIVATE STUDY
The beginning of my freshman year, I was placed in the top orchestra at Davidson. Recognizing my need for help and desire to go above and beyond, my orchestra director Mr. Sholl recommended that I start start studying with Deborah Price, Viola Professor at Denison University and founder of Chamber Music Connection (CMC), a locally based program for advanced orchestra students. Debby has done wonders with my playing, increasing my skill level and sound quality beyond belief. With her, I have worked on posture, balance, bow technique, finger dexterity, intonation, etudes, scales, and solos.
